The Caresia lower extremity garment from L&R is a below-knee bandage liner created to streamline active phase lymphedema care. It is used as part of a two-step routine: apply the liner to the limb, then wrap over it with two or more short stretch bandages. The liner is designed to support standard bandaging methods while reducing the time and complexity involved in repeated wrapping sessions.
This Average Large size is intended for a calf length of 16.1" to 18.5", an ankle girth of 13.3" to 15.7", and a calf girth of 20.4" to 24.4". The garment includes foam-chip particles that help create gentle tissue stretch and pressure differential, while also helping to reduce compression hot spots and distribute pressure more evenly. It is gentle on delicate skin and may help break up fibrotic tissue during use.
Caresia liners are washable and dryer safe for convenient care. They can be laundered with normal wash loads, using no bleach and tumble drying on permanent press. Short stretch bandages are sold separately.
