Product Description
FlexStep V2 is a two-in-one system that functions as both a staircase and a lift for wheelchair users. This indoor model is intended for installations where a conventional stair and a separate stairlift would be difficult to accommodate, offering a compact access solution with flexible configuration options. The 2-step model is designed for travel distances from 240 to 370 mm and features a short lower step with an extra-long upper step. When converted to wheelchair lift mode, the platform length is 1210 mm.
The fixed staircase can be installed indoors and is available in step widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm. A ramp folds down for entry and exit, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, an infrared safety device between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, and automatic stopping in cases of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts, and built-in batteries supply power during an outage.
