Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 1000 2+2 indoor model is a combined stair and wheelchair lift system designed to provide both fixed steps and accessible lift functionality in a single installation. It is intended for indoor use and can be a practical option when fitting a separate staircase and stairlift is difficult. The 2-step configuration is designed for travel distances from 240 to 370 mm and includes a short lower step with an extra long upper step. When converted for wheelchair use, the platform length is 1210 mm.
The lift includes a fold-down ramp for rolling onto and off the platform, and the ramp must be raised and locked before movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform to stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce the risk of crushing, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts, and integrated batteries supply power during an outage. Fixed steps are available in widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm.
