Product Description
FlexStep V2 is a versatile accessibility system that functions as both steps and a lift for wheelchair users. This 3-step outdoor model is intended for travel heights up to 74 mm and can be configured with one stop for a lifting height of 360-555 mm, or with the extra 2 top stop software for a lifting height of 480-740 mm. The fixed staircase is installed leading up to the front wall and floor, and it can be supplied with round or square balustrades to suit the installation.
The ramp folds down to allow the user to roll onto or off the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform to stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, infra-red protection between the steps to help reduce the risk of crushing, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts during operation, and built-in batteries supply power if there is an outage.
