Product Description
FlexStep V2 is a versatile 3-in-1 access solution that functions as steps and as a lift for wheelchair users. This indoor model is designed for installations where space is limited but both stair access and lift access are needed. The fixed staircase section is available in a 700 mm width and is built to integrate with the surrounding space. The ramp folds down to allow a user to roll onto or off the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform to stop operation if an object is detected, infra-red protection between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms during movement. Battery backup supports operation in the event of a power outage.
