Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 700 is a compact 4-step indoor stairlift solution that functions as both a staircase and a lift for wheelchair users. It is designed to help provide access in locations where fitting separate stairs and a stairlift would be difficult. The 4-step model is intended for travel heights up to 925 mm, and travel higher than 740 mm requires the space-saving 2-stop point configuration, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold becomes step 5.
This model includes a platform length of 1220 mm and fixed steps with a width of 700 mm. A ramp folds down for entry and exit, then raises and locks before lift movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected, infra-red protection between the steps to reduce crushing risk, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide notice of lift movement, and built-in batteries supply power during an outage. The fixed staircase can be installed indoors and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to suit the FlexStep design.
