Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 700 2+2 steps is a compact indoor accessibility solution that functions as both a staircase and a wheelchair lift. It is intended for installations where space is limited and a separate stairlift and staircase would be difficult to accommodate. In step mode, it provides a fixed staircase configuration, and when transformed into lift mode, the platform length is 1210 mm. This 2-step model is intended for travel distances from 240 up to 370 mm and includes a short lower step with an extra long upper step.
The system includes a fold-down ramp for rolling onto and off the platform. Before movement begins, the ramp is raised and locked in place. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected below, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts during operation. Built-in batteries supply power in the event of a power outage.
Fixed steps are available in widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm. The unit can be installed indoors and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to complement the FlexStep design.
