Product Description
The FlexStep V2 700 outdoor model is a six-step access solution that functions as both a staircase and a lift platform. It is intended for travel heights up to 1250 mm, and for heights above 1110 mm it uses the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold. The six-step configuration includes a platform length of 1830 mm and fixed steps with a width of 700 mm. A fixed staircase can be installed for indoor or outdoor use and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to coordinate with the FlexStep design. For wheelchair access, the ramp folds down to allow rolling on and off the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves.
Built-in safety features help monitor operation during use. Pressure plates under the platform stop movement if an object is detected below, while an infra-red safety device between the steps helps reduce crushing risk. The platform stops automatically in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms provide movement alerts. Batteries supply power to the system in the event of a power outage.
