Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 800 is a compact 6-step indoor stairlift solution that functions as both a fixed staircase and a lift for wheelchair users. It is intended for spaces where fitting separate stairs and a stairlift would be difficult, while still providing practical access in a single integrated design. The 6-step model is suitable for travel heights up to 1250 mm, and travel above 1110 mm requires the space-saving 2-stop point arrangement. In this configuration, the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold becomes step 7.
The platform length on the 6-step model is 1830 mm. The ramp folds down for roll-on and roll-off access, then raises and locks before lift movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected below, infra-red protection between the steps to help reduce the risk of crushing, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement notifications during operation. Batteries are included to maintain system power during an outage.
