Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 800 is a 4+1 step indoor staircase and lift system that provides both everyday step access and wheelchair movement in a compact footprint. This model is intended for indoor use and features a platform length of 1495 mm, with fixed step widths available in 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm configurations. The 4-step FlexStep model is designed for travel up to 925 mm, and travel above 740 mm requires the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold functions as step no. 5. A fixed staircase can be installed leading to the front wall and floor, and round or square balustrades are available to coordinate with the system. For lift use, the ramp folds down to allow access to the platform, then raises and locks before movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform to stop operation if an object is detected, infra-red sensors between the steps to reduce crushing risk, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, acoustic movement alarms, and batteries to support operation during a power outage.
