Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 800 Outdoor is a combined staircase and wheelchair lift system designed for practical access in compact spaces. In stair mode, it functions as fixed steps, and when converted, it provides a lift platform for wheelchair users. The 2-step model is intended for travel heights from 240 to 370 mm and features a short lower step with an extra long upper step. When transformed into lift mode, the platform length is 1210 mm.
This outdoor model can be installed as a fixed staircase leading to the front wall and floor, with optional round or square balustrades to coordinate with the system. The fold-down ramp supports easy roll-on and roll-off access and must be raised and locked before operation begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop movement if an object is detected beneath, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, automatic stop protection for overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms during movement. Built-in batteries provide power in the event of an outage.
