Product Description
The FlexStep V2 900 2+2 is an indoor stairlift and step system that functions as both a fixed staircase and a wheelchair lift. It is intended for installations where space is limited and a conventional staircase plus stairlift arrangement is not practical. This model is designed for travel heights from 240 to 370 mm and includes a short lower step with an extra long upper step. When converted for wheelchair use, the platform length is 1210 mm. The fixed staircase can be installed indoors and may be supplied with round or square balustrades to match the system. The folding ramp lowers for wheelchair access and must be raised and locked before movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infra-red safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms during operation. Built-in batteries provide power during an outage. Fixed steps are available in widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm.
