Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 900 4+1 is an indoor stair and lift system designed to provide both fixed steps and accessible platform movement in a compact footprint. This configuration is intended for spaces where it is difficult to accommodate a full staircase and a separate stairlift. The 4+1 model includes a platform length of 1495 mm and is suitable for travel up to 925 mm. For travel higher than 740 mm, the space-saving 2-stop point feature is required, with the upper step positioned below the upper threshold so the threshold functions as step five.
The ramp folds down to allow a wheelchair user to roll onto and off the platform, then is raised and locked before the lift can move. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected below, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that signal lift movement. Built-in batteries provide power during an outage. The fixed staircase can be installed indoors and is available in several step widths to suit the space.
