Product Description
Liftup FlexStep V2 is a dual-function access system that serves as both stairs and a lift for wheelchair users. The 5-step outdoor model is intended for travel heights up to 1110 mm and features a platform length of 1525 mm. When installation requires the space-saving 2-stop point feature, the upper step is positioned below the upper threshold so the threshold acts as step number six. A fixed staircase can be built to suit indoor or outdoor use, and the design can be configured with round or square balustrades to match the system. The fold-down ramp allows users to roll onto and off the platform, and it must be raised and locked before the lift can operate. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infra-red safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, acoustic movement alarms, and battery backup for operation during a power outage.
