Product Description
FlexStep V2 is a versatile 3-in-1 accessibility system that functions as steps and a lift for wheelchair users. This outdoor model is built for installations where a conventional staircase and a stairlift need to fit into the same area, offering a practical way to provide step access and platform lifting in one unit. The 3-step FlexStep configuration is intended for travel heights up to 74 mm, with a lifting height of 360-555 mm using one stop. With the 2 top stop software option, the lifting height can be extended to 480-740 mm. The fixed staircase can be installed indoors or outdoors, and step widths are available in 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infrared safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that indicate movement. A folding ramp allows the user to roll onto and off the platform, and it must be raised and locked before movement begins. Battery backup is included to support operation during a power outage.
