Product Description
FlexStep V2 is a versatile accessibility system that functions as both steps and a lift for wheelchair users. The outdoor 4-step model is intended for travel heights up to 925 mm and includes a platform length of 1220 mm. For travel heights above 740 mm, the space-saving 2-stop point feature is required, placing the upper step below the upper threshold so the threshold becomes step 5 in the staircase layout.
The fixed staircase can be installed to the front wall and floor and may be configured with round or square balustrades to match the system. The ramp folds down for roll-on and roll-off access, then raises and locks before the lift operates. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infrared safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that signal movement. Built-in batteries provide power during an outage.
