Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 900 is a 6-step stairlift and stair system designed to provide both step access and wheelchair lift functionality in one compact unit. It is intended for outdoor use and can be fitted into spaces where separate stairs and a stairlift would be difficult to accommodate. The 6-step model is suitable for travel heights up to 1250 mm, and travel above 1110 mm requires the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step is positioned below the upper threshold.
This model includes a platform length of 1830 mm and a fixed staircase width of 900 mm. The ramp folds down to allow wheelchair users to roll onto and off the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, infra-red protection between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms to indicate lift movement. Built-in batteries provide power during an outage.
The FlexStep design can be integrated with fixed stairs that may be used indoors or outdoors, and balustrades can be supplied in round or square styles to suit the installation.
