The Liftup FlexStep V2 800 3+1 steps, outdoor model is a compact accessibility system that functions as both a staircase and a lift for wheelchair users. It is designed for installation outdoors and can be configured to suit spaces where both stairs and a stairlift are needed but room is limited. The fixed staircase is intended for travel heights up to 74 mm, with a lifting range of 360 to 555 mm using one stop, or 480 to 740 mm with the additional 2 top stop software option. A fold-down ramp allows users to roll onto and off the platform, then locks in place before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infra-red safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in cases of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that signal lift movement. Built-in batteries provide power during a power outage. This model uses an 800 mm step width and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to match the installation.
