Product Description
Ionto4 iontophoresis electrodes are built with synthetic pH stabilizing buffering agents within each electrode to help guard against polarity shifts in the drug solution. This supports more consistent drug delivery during treatment. The electrodes use a proprietary silver-silver chloride conducting element, which is designed to improve delivery performance compared with carbon-based iontophoresis electrodes. Water activation is not required, helping avoid impurities associated with water contamination.
The large adhesive area helps distribute current more evenly for improved patient comfort and supports stable placement throughout the treatment. The butterfly size is one of four available sizes in the Ionto4 line, offering options for drug capacity and application placement. Each kit includes one 2.0 cc, 4 mA butterfly iontophoresis electrode, one buffered return electrode, and one alcohol prep pad.
