The ActivaTek Ionto4 Iontophoretic Delivery Kit uses synthetic pH stabilizing buffering agents within each electrode to help reduce polarity shifts in the drug solution and support steady delivery throughout the treatment. Each electrode is rated for use in treatments up to 4.0 mA and features a proprietary silver-silver chloride conducting element designed to improve drug delivery compared with carbon-based iontophoresis electrodes. Water activation is not required, which helps avoid introducing impurities from water contamination. The large adhesive surface supports current distribution for patient comfort and helps maintain placement during treatment.
