Product Description
This North Coast Medical splint is designed to support the thumb CMC joint with a contoured neoprene strap that wraps around the thumb CMC area and first metacarpal. It offers gentle compression for users experiencing discomfort related to thumb CMC osteoarthritis, medial subluxation, instability, tendinitis, or repetitive motion injuries. The design allows full finger function while helping provide direct support where it is needed most.
Made from thin 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) perforated neoprene, the splint includes a terry cloth liner to help maintain comfort against the skin. Reinforced stitching allows the splint to be trimmed below the thumb MP joint for a more customized fit. The plus size offers additional room for enlarged thumb conditions, with a half size larger hand fit and a full size larger thumb circumference. The splint is anti-microbial and not made with natural rubber latex.
