The Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splint is designed to provide direct support to the thumb CMC joint while allowing full finger function. This left-hand, X-large version is made for a 9" to 10" hand circumference and features a thin perforated neoprene construction for comfortable wear.
Product Description
This North Coast Medical Thumb CMC Restriction Splint is intended to support the thumb CMC joint and help manage discomfort associated with osteoarthritis, medial subluxation, instability, tendinitis, and repetitive motion injuries. The patented contoured neoprene strap wraps around the thumb CMC joint and first metacarpal to provide targeted support without limiting finger movement. Reinforced stitching allows the splint to be trimmed below the thumb MP joint for a more customized fit.
The splint is made from thin, 1/16 inch perforated neoprene with a terry cloth liner to help maintain comfort during wear. This plus-size design provides added room for enlarged thumb conditions, with a half size larger fit in the hand and a full size larger fit in thumb circumference. It is anti-microbial and not made with natural rubber latex.
