The NuStep T5XR Recumbent Cross Trainer brings smooth, seated cross-training to rehabilitation, wellness, and fitness settings. Its recumbent design promotes a natural seated position while engaging major muscle groups through a frictionless stepping motion. The unit is suitable for physical therapy sessions, cardiopulmonary rehab, cardiovascular conditioning, and sports medicine applications, as well as use in healthcare facilities, wellness centers, senior living environments, and home studios.
The T5XR offers multiple workout options, allowing users to exercise with the arms only, legs only, or both together. Resistance training adds variety to exercise routines, while 15 workload settings and 13 pre-programmed programs support different training goals and interval levels. The easy-to-read LCD color display lets users adjust resistance, select programs, and view workout data including resistance level, total steps, duration, lap counter, and lap progress. The console also supports nine languages and includes Manager Mode for authorized personnel to view and export data, adjust factory settings, and control selected features.
Comfort and adjustability are built into the design. The foam-padded seat features contoured back support and adjusts forward, back, and with a 12-degree recline. Adjustable arm handles rotate and extend, and the soft rubber grips provide a comfortable hold. Oversized cushioned foot pedals accommodate different foot sizes, and the stepping range adjusts from 2 inches to 8.5 inches. A sturdy Grab Ring adds support when getting on and off the unit. The heavy-duty welded steel frame has a powder-coated finish, and zinc-plated components help resist rust. The T5XR is self-powered, typically does not require an external power source, and is designed to be plugged in for proper operation. It is built for users from 4'6" to 6'7" and supports up to 600 lb.
