Product Description
OPED OPTIVOhand is a stabilizing hand brace with palmar and dorsal reinforcement for controlled support of the wrist. Its slim, lightweight construction is designed for comfortable daily wear while still providing a high level of stability for an injured wrist. The orthosis can be used on either hand and is intended to support treatment for radius fractures, after plaster cast removal, distortions, tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, overuse arthropathies, osteoarthritis of the wrist, and rheumatoid arthritis.
The middle stabilizing band allows the brace to be adjusted to changing swelling conditions without reducing support. Integrated dorsal reinforcement rails and two plastic guides provide additional stabilization. The brace is simple to use, comfortable to wear, and suitable for imaging check-ups without removal, which can help save time during follow-up care. OPTIVOhand can also be combined with the Pollex Pro thumb brace to help immobilize both the wrist and thumb joint.
