Product Description
The OPED Pollex Pro is a stabilizing thumb splint for right-hand support in the Large size. It is intended for thumb immobilization and may be used for ligament injuries, post-traumatic conditions, pre- and post-operative degenerative irritation, and rhizarthrosis without a surgical indication. The orthosis opens completely for easier application and features three Velcro fasteners at the thumb area, along with a shortened strap and micro-Velcro closure above the wrist.
The one-piece shell provides reinforcement on the dorsal and palmar sides, as well as between the thumb and forefinger. A skin-friendly, washable material with a soft lining under the shell is designed for comfortable wear. Four Velcro fasteners allow flexible adjustment to different swelling conditions and hand anatomies, helping the orthosis fit more individually. The wrist and remaining fingers stay free, and the Pollex Pro can be combined with the OPTIVOhand wrist orthosis for coordinated thumb and wrist immobilization.
