Product Description
The OPED Pollex Pro is a thumb orthosis intended for stabilization in a range of thumb injury and irritation cases, including post-traumatic ligament injuries, pre- and post-operative degenerative irritation, and rhizarthrosis without a surgical indication. Its one-piece shell provides reinforcement on the dorsal and palmar sides, as well as between the thumb and forefinger, while the open design helps make application easier and less painful. Four Velcro fasteners allow flexible adjustment to accommodate different swelling conditions and hand anatomies. The orthosis is made from skin-friendly, washable material and includes a soft material layer under the shell for added wearing comfort. A shortened strap with micro-Velcro secures the orthosis above the wrist. This model is sized Standard and is made for the right hand only.
