Product Description
This VACOcast Diabetic Boot uses vacuum technology to support wound care by helping relieve pressure and contouring to the foot. Bead-filled inserts create a vacuum cushion that molds to the user’s foot in a manner similar to plaster casting, helping offload heel ulcers and allowing the boot to be remolded at each fitting for easier wound inspection. The covered toe area helps protect neuropathic feet from debris, while the rocker sole supports better pressure distribution. A foam insole adds shock absorption and additional offloading, and the low-friction, wicking synthetic velour liner is designed to be gentler than standard treatment boot materials. Both the sole and liners are removable and washable for easier cleaning. The large size fits Men’s shoe sizes 10.5 through 15 and Women’s shoe sizes 11.5 through 14.
