The OPED VACOped Achilles Injury/Fracture Orthosis Boot is a controlled ankle motion (CAM) boot used for a range of Achilles and ankle applications, including Achilles ruptures and fractures, ankle joint replacement, calcaneus fractures, complex ligament injuries, and arthrodesis of the upper and lower ankle joint. Its soft 100% cotton terrycloth liner is both absorbent and breathable for patient comfort during wear. The adjustable articulating ankle feature supports dynamic positioning such as plantar flexion and controlled range of motion, helping accommodate active recovery protocols. The adjustable angle setting and ROM function support advanced conservative Achilles treatment approaches, including SMART, Exeter, and Leister protocols. The VACOcast family includes a patented vacuum-relief insert that helps create a custom-molded fit based on anatomy, with added stability and comfort. The sole and liners are removable and washable for easier cleaning and maintenance.
