Orfit Classic Precuts Complete Thumb Splint is a preformed orthotic option intended for acute applications. The dorsal section at the thumb level helps prevent hyperextension of the distal phalanx, and it can be cut away when needed for customization. This splint is appropriate for a range of diagnostic conditions where combined volar and dorsal support is required. The material includes a coating that helps prevent accidental bonding, and the orthosis can be remolded quickly and easily during fitting.
