This Orfit Colors NS Precuts Gauntlet Thumb Post Splint is intended for thumb immobilization and stabilization in splinting applications. It may be used in the treatment of tenosynovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, basal joint osteoarthritis, thumb sprain, and for pre- or post-operative thumb management. The Orfit Colors NS material provides a non-stick coating for temporary bonding during application, with permanent bonding possible after removing the coating and using dry heat. The material is offered in a high-gloss metallic finish and is available in distinctive colors that can help support patient acceptance of splint wear.
