Orfit Crystal NS is a transparent, low-temperature thermoplastic material made for forming custom braces, splints, and orthoses. The clear material allows clinicians to observe the treatment area during fitting and follow changes in healing, sensitive skin, and scar tissue without removing the support device. Its non-stick coating helps the material form directly over bandages and cotton linings, making it suitable for post-surgical applications and other situations where patient comfort is important. Once heated, the sheet becomes ready for shaping in about 5 minutes, then can be trimmed, formed, and reinforced as needed as it cools. The flexible, lightweight construction provides limited support without fully immobilizing the patient, and it can be used to create a customized fit for the individual. This case includes four individual sheets measuring 18 in x 24 in x 3/32 in.
