Product Description
The Orfit Isoforce Outrigger is intended for use in orthotic applications targeting PIP joint contractures. It provides a minimal movement-restricting solution with a refined, compact profile that is especially suitable for contractures above a 30-degree angle. The outrigger is designed to maintain constant force transmission and a consistent force application angle throughout the full range of finger motion.
This small size is selected based on the circumference of the proximal interphalangeal joint and fits a circumference of 1.75" to 2.25" (4 cm to 5.5 cm). It can be used for dynamic orthosis with Orficast Thermoplastic on a roll or for static progressive orthosis with Orfit Sheet Material.
