The smooth surface helps resist fingerprints and allows minor adjustments after spot heating with a heat gun. Its non-stick coating helps keep components separate during fabrication, which is useful when working around dressings and linings. When the coating is removed, permanent bonding can be achieved using dry heat. With a 3.2 mm thickness, this material is well suited for larger orthoses, outrigger components, and contracture management applications.
