Product Description
Pronex I cervical traction cradles the head and neck on two soft foam cushions for use with inline traction. One cushion supports the back of the head, while the other rests against the top of the shoulders. Between the cushions, an air-inflated bellows delivers up to 35 lbs of continuously adjustable traction. As the bellows expands, the head moves upward to support the cervical curve and help maintain an even force between the cervical vertebrae.
The patient controls the traction level during use. Pressure can be increased with the single-hand inflator bulb and reduced gently with the release knob. A flexion wedge can also be used to obtain lateral neck flexion of 15 and 22 degrees.
