The included hand pump inflates the internal airbag to create even compression, while the removable gel pack can be used for either hot or cold therapy depending on your needs.
For cold use, place the gel pack in the freezer for 2 hours before application. For heat therapy, microwave the pack for 45 seconds. The wrap is intended to make therapy application more convenient than using separate ice packs or wraps, while supporting a more consistent fit around the shoulder.
