Compared with dry heat at the same temperature, moist heat can provide deeper tissue penetration and a more conforming feel when heated. The unit features adjustable temperature control and a glowing orange indicator light that signals when the desired temperature has been reached. A green on/off light shows when the heater is operating. Its compact stationary design sits easily on a countertop, and the stainless steel construction is suited for use in busy clinical settings. This unit runs on 110V and includes 6 Standard Relief Pak moist heat packs, a removable plug set, and a fully illustrated user manual.
