Product Description
Richmar HydraHeat Hot Packs are part of a moist heat therapy system intended for use in managing common discomfort associated with arthritis, back pain, muscle strain, and general soreness. The oversize pack measures 17" x 13" and features a PVC exterior with a non-toxic gel interior that allows it to flex and contour to the body for improved contact during treatment. It is designed to hold therapeutic heat within the 120 degrees to 140 degrees range and can retain heat for up to 40 minutes after removal from the heater. The non-porous, bacteria-resistant polymer skin supports easy cleaning and helps reduce the risk of cross contamination between patients. A towel or pillowcase may be used as a barrier, eliminating the need for a terrycloth cover. The SureSeam process is designed to help prevent bursting or leaking during regular use. Heating units are sold separately. For best results, the pack should be fully submerged in water for at least 20 minutes before treatment. It is compatible with HydraTherm heating units and other heating units. HydraHeat packs are latex free and made in the USA.
