Product Description
Richmar HydraHeat Hot Packs are part of a moist heat therapy system intended to support treatment of aches, soreness, muscle strains, back pain, and arthritis-related discomfort. The Standard pack measures 12" x 10" and is designed to work with heating units, with the pack fully submerged in water for at least 20 minutes before use for consistent heating. The pack provides treatment in the optimal temperature range of 120 degrees to 140 degrees and can retain heat within that range for up to 40 minutes after removal from the heater. Its non-porous polymer skin allows use at lower, safer temperatures, so only a towel or pillowcase is needed as a barrier between the pack and the patient. The exterior wipes clean easily, and the bacteria-resistant skin is intended to help reduce the risk of bacterial attachment and cross contamination. The SureSeam process is designed to help prevent bursting or leaking during regular use. This hot pack is latex free and made in the USA. Heating units are sold separately.
