The Rifton Compass Chair with standard high friction legs is a Class 1 medical device made for classroom use and supportive seating. The standard legs are designed with high friction to help keep the chair more stationary, and they can be adjusted slightly for seat height, tilt, or positioning. Short armrests allow the user to sit closer to a table and also support transfers.
