Product Description
SmartCuffs support blood flow restriction training by limiting venous blood flow from the working muscle while allowing arterial flow to continue. This approach is used in rehabilitation settings to support earlier post-surgical therapy progression and is also suitable for immobile or mobility-restricted users, bedridden patients, casted individuals, older adults, athletes in active recovery, and people managing reduced joint or tissue loads. This large cuff features a research-backed single chambered bladder design with a bolstered valve connection for added durability. The 4-inch width is intended to support safer use by helping reduce the pressure needed to achieve LOP. Sized for arms and legs with a circumference of 23.5 inches and over, it can be measured at the upper arm between the shoulder and bicep or at the thigh closest to the hip. This accessory is made in the USA, easy to clean, and is FDA listed as a Class 1 Pneumatic Tourniquet. It is intended for use with the SmartCuffs pump, sold separately.
