SmartCuffs 4.0 is the fourth-generation model in the SmartCuffs line and is designed for arm or leg use. It uses an AI-powered processor with proprietary limb occlusion pressure algorithms to help calculate LOP quickly, with patent-pending iBFR LOP Calibration designed to determine LOP in as little as 10 seconds. By basing restriction on a percentage of LOP, the system helps users apply a more objective approach to blood flow restriction training and rehabilitation.
The Tri-Pressure technology includes three BFR modes to support different training and rehab approaches. Continuous BFR inflates during both exercise and rest intervals. Intermittent BFR inflates during exercise and deflates during rest. Resting BFR inflates during rest intervals and deflates during exercise. SmartCuffs 4.0 is designed to limit inflation above 80% LOP for any limb, supporting straightforward use in home or clinical settings. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is designed for fast charging, with a full charge in 30 minutes or less.
This set includes 2 pairs of cuffs, for a total of 4 individual SmartCuffs, with each cuff having its own permanently attached pump. The small cuffs are sized for approximately 8 to 13 inches in circumference, and the medium cuffs are sized for approximately 13 to 18 inches in circumference. A carrying case, USB-C charging block, and cable are included.
