SmartCuffs 4.0 is the fourth-generation version of a widely used blood flow restriction system. It is designed for comfort and practical use across a range of users, with a single cuff size intended to fit either an arm or a leg depending on the measurement provided. The system uses an AI-powered processor and proprietary limb occlusion pressure algorithms to support faster setup and more objective pressure selection. Its patent-pending iBFR LOP Calibration can determine limb occlusion pressure in as little as 10 seconds, helping users set pressure based on individual limb structure rather than guesswork.
The cuff includes SmartCuffs' Tri-Pressure technology with three BFR modes to support different training and rehabilitation needs. Continuous BFR inflates during both exercise and rest, Intermittent BFR inflates only during exercise, and Resting BFR inflates only during rest periods. The system is designed to limit inflation above 80% LOP for any limb, supporting straightforward at-home use. A rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides long battery life and can be fully charged in 30 minutes or less. Each cuff has its own permanently attached pump, and this single cuff is sized x-large with an approximate circumference range of 24 to 29 inches.
