SmartCuffs 4.0 is the fourth-generation version of Smart Tools' blood flow restriction cuff system, designed for comfort, ease of use, and objective pressure control. The included pair of small cuffs can be used on either the arms or legs, with each cuff featuring a permanently attached pump and rechargeable battery for convenient operation. The system uses proprietary limb occlusion pressure (LOP) algorithms and patent-pending iBFR LOP Calibration to find LOP in as little as 10 seconds, helping users determine a percentage of occlusion based on individual limb structure. Tri-Pressure technology offers three BFR modes to support different training and rehabilitation approaches, including Continuous, Intermittent, and Resting modes. The cuffs are designed to limit inflation above 80% LOP for any limb, supporting straightforward at-home use. Each cuff size is intended for limbs measuring approximately 8 to 13 inches in circumference.
