Sommerfly Sleep Tight Weighted Blanket is a therapeutic weighted blanket made for restful sleep and a secure, contoured fit. The curved top section is shaped to sit around the shoulders and help keep the blanket positioned away from the face, while the weighted construction provides deep pressure touch throughout the body. This extra large model measures 57 x 80 inches and weighs 25 lbs., making it suitable for users who weigh about 141 lbs. or more and are approximately 16 years of age or older. It is not recommended for people with decreased strength due to age or illness, and the user should be able to remove the blanket independently. The blanket uses PET pellets that are non-toxic and BPA- and phthalate-free. For added durability, the blanket is triple stitched and includes a fabric reinforced edge on the inside of the inner curve. The pellets are enclosed in a cloth bag for double protection. The cover is machine washable and can be dried on low heat or air dried.
