Strava's Smart UV Splint Bath combines precise temperature control with advanced cleaning and handling features in a compact countertop design. A thermoset construction provides insulation, flammability resistance, durability, and a clean finished appearance. The fully retractable bi-fold lid helps the unit fit under most cabinets, making efficient use of workspace while helping retain heat during use.
The internal heat exchanger is immersed directly in the circulating water basin and reaches operating temperature in less than 25 minutes, helping provide fast heating, minimal thermal lag, and even heat distribution. Real-time temperature monitoring maintains control within close tolerances of plus or minus 2 degrees Fahrenheit. A built-in timer includes visual and audible alerts at thirty and ten seconds, and time and temperature can be adjusted manually as needed.
The Smart version includes water circulation, dual disinfection, UVC germicidal kill, a high-heat sanitation cycle, thermoplastic presets, custom presets, and dual filtration. The proprietary cleaning system uses UV-C sterilization cycling along with a high-heat cleaning cycle. An automatic drainage pump also supports quicker water removal during cleaning and refilling.
