The TheraTouch CX2 is a two-channel combination unit that brings electrotherapy and ultrasound into one streamlined system. It allows the practitioner to use the stimulation channels independently or in combination, and the multi-patient function supports treatment of up to three patients at once. Ultrasound output includes 1 MHz and 3 MHz frequencies with pulsed and continuous modes, while the dedicated stimulation output can be paired with ultrasound using any available waveform.
The unit features a large LCD touch screen with a menu-driven layout for straightforward operation. Built-in evidence-based clinical protocols help guide treatment selection and include electrode placement suggestions. The device offers eight stimulation protocols, parameter customization, and storage for up to 99 user-defined protocols. An English and Spanish interface is included for added usability. The system comes with an ergonomically designed 5 cm squared ultrasound applicator with a maximum BNR ratio of 5:1.
