Product Description
Whitehall’s L-105-M mobile whirlpool is built for therapeutic use where access, mobility, and controlled water agitation are important. The 105-gallon tank measures 66 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 18 inches deep, providing space for treating extremities as well as the hip and back area. The tank is fabricated from heavy gauge, type 304 stainless steel with seamless welded construction and a satin finish.
The tank includes a reinforced rim with a concealed stainless steel rod, an auxiliary drain valve, and a seamless rounded covered bottom designed to help minimize bacteria buildup. Heavy-duty swivel casters support the mobile design, and the rear casters lock to help stabilize the unit during treatment. A turbine raising and lowering device allows adjustment of water agitation height and direction, and it includes a spring-balanced design with a locking device. The turbine assembly serves as both an agitator and emptying device and is powered by an Underwriters Laboratory listed 1/2 HP jet pump motor with an ABS plastic shell, automatic thermal overload protector, and lifetime-sealed bearings. Components that contact the water are stainless steel, chrome plated brass, or bronze. A thermometer with dual scale and adjustable calibration is also included.
