The Whitehall L-105-S Stationary Whirlpool is built for professional hydrotherapy applications where access, comfort, and durability are important. Its 105-gallon tank is fabricated from heavy gauge type 304 stainless steel with seamless welded construction and a satin finish. The low boy design provides a 60 inch by 24 inch footprint with an 18 inch depth, while the tank itself measures 66 inches long by 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep. The rounded, coved tank bottom is designed to help reduce bacteria buildup, and the reinforced rim includes a concealed stainless steel rod for added strength. An extended stainless steel skirt runs flush to the floor line to conceal internal drain piping.
The whirlpool includes a turbine raising and lowering device for adjusting height and directing water agitation toward the treatment area. This spring-balanced device includes a locking mechanism for positioning. The turbine assembly serves as both agitator and emptying device and is paired with an Underwriters Laboratory listed 1/2 HP jet pump motor with an ABS plastic shell, automatic thermal overload protector, and lifetime-sealed bearings. Components that contact the water are made of stainless steel, chrome plated brass, or bronze. A dual scale thermometer with adjustable calibration is included, and the stem fits into a retainer to help prevent rattling during operation. The unit also includes a 2 inch combination drain and overflow, a filler spout, and an auxiliary drain valve.
