Product Description
Part of Accucold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series, the ARS1PV is an upright all-refrigerator built for vaccine and medication applications. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and uses an externally located microprocessor controller to reduce door openings and help protect stored contents from ambient conditions. Temperature monitoring is supported by a buffered probe housed in a glycol-filled bottle, along with an additional air temperature sensor for more stable control. The current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.
To help support proper storage conditions, this model includes audible and visual temperature alarms, a power failure alarm, a door open alarm, and a sensor failure alarm. Remote alarm contacts are located at the rear, and a 1/2" probe port on the right side allows connection of additional monitoring devices. Inside, adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves can be repositioned in 1/2" increments, while LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch improves interior visibility. The cabinet includes a white powder coated metal interior, a white exterior with a blue accented control panel, a self-closing user-reversible door, factory-installed lock, and magnetic gaskets for a secure seal. The antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with silver ions, and the unit uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy-efficient design. It is also compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
