Product Description
The Accucold ARG12PV is a 12 cu.ft. upright all-refrigerator built for vaccine and pharmacy storage needs. It features an externally located microprocessor temperature controller with an adjustable range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius, helping limit door openings and support stable storage conditions. A buffered probe in a glycol-filled bottle simulates stored product temperature, while a separate sensor monitors air temperature for more precise control.
The digital display shows current and minimum/maximum temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. Audible and visual alarms alert users to out-of-range temperatures, power failure, door open conditions, and sensor failure. Remote alarm contacts and a 1/2 inch probe port are included for additional monitoring options. For convenience and safety, the unit comes with a hospital grade cord and green dot plug.
Inside, optimized forced air cooling with two internal fans promotes uniform temperature performance and quicker recovery after door openings. Adjustable cycle defrost operation is designed to help avoid temperature spikes. The interior includes seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a white powder coated metal liner for added durability and temperature retention. The user-reversible double pane tempered glass door provides a clear view of contents, and a factory-installed lock with two keys helps secure stored items. The antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions to help reduce germ spread. This model uses hydrocarbon refrigerant and is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
